A new church plant is coming to Lake Orion, Michigan and the North Oakland county region.
We exist to make disciples built on the foundation of Jesus Christ — anchored in His love, His truth, and His name.
Anchor City Church is a place where people encounter God, discover apostolic truth, and build their lives on a firm foundation. Our desire is to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel. Everything we do is centered around helping people know Jesus deeply and follow Him fully.
Anchor City Church is driven to see an authentic move of God's Spirit in Lake Orion and throughout the North Oakland County region. We believe God is calling us to create a space where:
People can encounter His presence
His Word is faithfully taught
Lives are transformed
Families, students, and the next generation encounter real hope

Meet our Pastor
“Hello, my name is Matt Anderson. I have been happily married to my beautiful wife, Salma, for the last three and a half years. We have served in various ministry capacities, such as youth ministry, music, and other areas wherever needed. It is our honor and privilege to serve as lead pastors of Anchor City Church.
As of late, we have felt the call and burden to launch a church in the Lake Orion and North Oakland County area. We have lived in the Lake Orion and Auburn Hills areas since we were married. We have fallen in love with this area, but we see a great need of an apostolic move of God in this region. We are moving forward full of faith that God is going to pour out His Spirit. People are going to encounter new hope, and a new future in Christ.
We envision a church where people are transformed by the power of the Gospel and are equipped to live out their God-given purpose. We see more than a gathering - we see a people empowered to go make disciples and make a difference to our surrounding communities. We see a church where people will experience His unconditional love, discover His timeless truth, and live to glorify the name of Jesus.
If this is your first time hearing about Anchor City Church, we hope that this is an answered prayer.
